I was banded in August of 2005 and no one knows I had the surgery, My family that lives with me don't even know. Believe me when I tell you they will only find fault and then become the food police.
Thanks to everyone who share their experiences on this web site. I am newly banded last week and have not told my family or friends about this ordeal. I lie in bed wondering if I have done the right thing by not telling anyone as I feel I need the support sometimes. (When I am hurting and feeling sorry for myself). Today I had a few people answer some questions I had and I feel so much better knowing that you are all out there in the same boat-as to speak. I just wanted to say thank you for taking the time to help one another it means so much knowing you all care about your fellow human beings.
