Skin Stuck In Band After Having Gastroscopy.. Help

In desperate need of some advice or support.. I'm 21 and was banded 7april 2011. It's just gone a year and I had only lost about 20 kgs. However things went down hill from there. Constant vomiting and pain when eating. I've even managed to get tablets stuck which was very painful. In the last 4-5 months I had a full and after it it seemed as tho my stomach became inflamed. I couldnt eat anything not even Soup and couldn't get Water passed the band. Had some removed after finding a doctor in a rural area that could do it. But a few months down the line things are still getting stuck with only 2.5 mls in the band. Had a gastroscopy done a week ago and the result showed that there is skin stuck in the band inside the stomach. I have no idea what to do next and I'm actually very nervous as to what will need to be done. I don't want my band to be removed. I worked so hard to pay for this thing and frankly it's just depressing knowing that it has only just gone a year with half of the time it having failed.

ANYONE ELSE OUT THERE THAT HAS HAD THIS HAPPEN TO THEM? would really appreciate some advice. =(

Feel like the one thing that should have worked hasn't and therefore nothing ever will now.

sounds like your band has slipped. You either need to try a complete unfill and hope it fixes itself or you will need surgery to reset the band. Where is your original surgeon?

You are right it's slipped right up around my oesophagus and have absolutely no pocket at all. Got the results from my gastroscopy today. Having a barium swallow soon and then have corrective surgery whenever it's possible. This is ****! How can this happen?!
