Which BCBS do you have?

Anthem BCBS out of PA.

I have BCBS of MA (PPO). I wrapped up all my required pre-op appts on the 15th of this month. To my surprise, I received an approval letter from BCBS yesterday. I was told by the program coordinator at the clinic I'm going to that by far, BCBS is the easiest insurance company to work with--notification of decision usually received within a week and a half.

I have BCBS of MA also and my paperwork was submitted on June 4th and the dr called me yesterday and said I was approved! I'm so excited I have a surgery date but I am a little worried about how much money is due on surgery date! Anyone know with this insurance?

I have BCBS anthem. They submitted June 6 and I received approval today!

Hi! When is your surgery? I had my pre op appointment today and I had to pay $1,145 dollars. Which really isn't that bad. But don't quote me! That's just my experience!

July 2nd! Waiting on them to call me to see how much I have to have up front! I will be devastated after all this time if I don't have it! Ugh

I have to pay 1350.00.

Is ur deductible met? What's your coinsurance percentage if u don't mind?

No, my out of pocket is 1500. They deducted something, don't remember what, since I had to pay so much on my deductable. Not sure what you mean as far as coinsurance.....
