ive read on here that many peope had their bands removed, and im not understanding why?

I had my band removed due to Erosion.

how long did you have it before it eroded and did you get it done in the united states?

40% erosion at 17 months, diagnosed by endoscopy.

and did they give you a reason this could happen?

Is erosion and slippage..... casued by

1) by you for doing something wrong?

2) Your surgeon? not doing a good job at installing the band?

3) a comb of both?
