The needle isnt too bad. I made sure not to look. A bit uncomfortable sensation but not painful at all. Personally I can eat the same foods as before my fill (so far). Just eating them a little slower.

Breakfast - 4oz yogurt

snack - 8oz skim milk

lunch - 1 muffin tin meatloaf, 1/4 steamed veggies, 1 strawberry

snack - 6oz Greek yogurt with 1/4 soy Protein Powder

dinner - 1/4 cup mahi mahi, 1/4cup veggies/mashed potato, 1 tbsp cheesecake (went to tony Roma's tonight with my family. Cheesecake was naughty but had TINY amount and overall did well)

Exercise - 1hr mall walking, and 45 minutes at the driving range this morning

@whymomwhy Let me know if you can still eat the same foods after your fill?

My first fill is July 2 and I'm not looking forward to a needle in my stomach, but I am anxious to find out if there would be a difference.

I have had no problem since the fill I am slightly more restricted and have gotten stuck more (my own fault) ate too fast...

I still think I can eat too much but will address that next visit and see what the Doc says I don't want to rush this process as long as I don't put on weight I am willing to wait. I have lost 31 pounds total since starting this and feel great! Patience is a virtue I am told

@Whymom That's awesome keep up the good work. I love banana peppers and hot sauce, but up till now was afraid it wouldn't agree with my system. But I see you have no problems with hot sauce and peppers. Maybe I will try it soon

@Daisy That muffin tin meatloaf sounds delicious, did you make it out of ground turkey? and I would assume it went down well

eyewonder - I used lean ground beef for it, but I think turkey would work too. It went down ok, but wasn't the easiest to chew because its kind of crusty on the outside.

snack - 8oz milk

I need to work on scheduling my meals better. By nature, I'm not a structured person so I'm learning this as I go. Today I has breakfast at 11am, lunch at 4pm and then wasn't hungry for dinner til 10pm. Tomorrow I need to do better at that. I've noticed since my fill, I've had chest aches that kind of hurt.. Idk if that's how hunger pains will feel from now on, or if I need to take small bites, but it sucks.

Breakfast - 6oz yogurt

lunch - 3/4 toasted wheat pita with 1 tbsp crunchy Peanut Butter, 1/4cup yogurt with tsp Protein powder

dinner - 1/2 cup beef chili, 2 crackers, diced peaches

Exercise - 30 min elliptical

Natalie I want a PB&J sandwich so bad. I thought Peanut Butter would get stuck.

My weight is staying the same, I can't really do exercise yet for health reasons.

My appetite is increasing and Ihat makes me discouraged, I can't wait until I get my first fill. Then hope I get restriction.

I keep saying I'm going on liquids for a day, but that day never comes. Especially when I open my fridge and my eyes go left to right searching for what will satisfy me. Now I know what people mean when they feel they can eat anything.

Thanks! I am HATING having to be on liquids for these 2 days, but I got through today so only 1 day left.

Even though I only have 1 cc in my band, I'm scared of food getting stuck when I do begin to eat again. I found some WLS cookbooks on Amazon.. thinking of ordering them! Or printing some from on here. Before the band I ate a TON of fast food and take out, so I am still learning how to cook healthy for myself. But i do find preparing a healthy meal for myself makes me feel really good. Open to any suggestions you guys may have.

Today I had skim milk, Water, and some cranberry juice. Need to get soy Protein powder.< /p>

Exercise - 1 hour belly dance class. Loved it.

Meeting with my trainer tomorrow for a 1 hour session.

How did you guys do today? And has anyone heard from Debbie? I am worried about her.

I'm sorry daisy, I 'm fine! But thanks for worrying about me and please keep emailing me till I get my self back. I've been busy. but I'm back now!

I'm so jealous that you went to your first belly dance class.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
