Dietician And Nurse Appointment This Thursday- Advise/info

I am scheduled to see the Dietician and Nurse this Thursday. Any advise or information needed for this step in the process? So far, my insurance will cover the procedure, and I think I will meet the standards, but unsure. Fingers Crossed

Thanks in advance for any info.

Each doctor has their own requirements. While my insurance did not require a 6 month pre op diet my doctor required that I loose 10% body weight. So if you have to loose a set amount that can delay your surgery. I would be brutaly honest with the Nut. they know your food habits. I discovered that while I chose low/non fat crackers and chips etc that I was just eating way to many of them.

We all know portion control. However I idea of what a single serving is, is usually really wrong. At my first meeting I said "I'm the healthiest eating fat person I know!" And I was eating pretty healthy I just was eating enough for two people.
