The internet is so full of horror stories. It is best to just know your surgeons complications rates.

However, I am scheduled in two weeks and I am getting very nervous as well. It is hard to select to have surgery. It is also scary to know you are signing up for a life time of change, commitment and some potential hazzards. However, I feel that if I stay at this weight, I have already signed up for that but much worse......I have to keep telling myself that I will make more healthier and a better wife, mom, employee and person. My quality of life is worth it.

With that being said, the feelings are still there!

Hi, I just found this sight. I have been banded almost 7 years. It was the easiest and best thing (and completely painless, really)I have ever done for myself. I have had no complications at all and I have kept off all of the weight I lost. Best of luck to you.
