New & getting banded in 8 days

I’m betting my band on March 7 & I’ve never had any type of surgery before. I know this is the right decision for me but at the same time I’m very scared of all the complications & also very nervous about adapting to life post-band. :help:

Anyway... I am very happy to find this forum. I’ve been overweight most of my life and I must have done almost every diet there is. I’m from Athens, Greece, female, 32 years old, 145 pounds overweight & hoping for the best. :)
