How Often Do You Weigh?

I would love to hear about weighing habits from everyone. I am one of those people that weigh every morning and often get discouraged if I see an increase or if the scale doesn't move. I am thinking about asking my husband to hide my scale and just weigh at the doctor's office every month. I might go through withdrawals. What do you do?

I weigh every single day and so that I can keep that accountability going. I also track all of my foods on myfitnesspal and go to the gym for 5-8 hours per week. Don't get discouraged and keep up

  • Good Idea...then I can stay accountable as some of the other ladies suggested but only count the weekly weigh-in

  • Every morning and record weight every sunday morning. I got to 400lbs by not using the scales am not gonna go there again. Accountability keeps you on track...

When I am staying track I weight every morning. I use my Thursday morning weigh in as my "official" weekly weigh in number.

If it stresses you out, try once a week. Do what works for you.

WebMD says daily is good: http://www.webmd.com...ful-weight-loss :D

Thanks Jayeedee - its good to have some research behind it. So it's official...I will weigh daily if I want but only record once a week. Most likely Fridays.
