Accidentally Ripped off My Steri Strip

I was trying to adjust my pajama pants and I accidentally ripped off my steri strip, scab and all, it had a little bleeding, I tried to wet it and stick it back on but it fell off. So I put some peroxide on the spot and stuck a band aid on it. Think I'll be ok?

it shoudl. just watch it. the steri strip is really just a strongbandaid. do you have any neosporin or anything like that? squeeze a little of that on the wound, stick a band aid on it, and then call the doc's office in the morning. you can get steristrips from some pharmacies like walgreens orCVS.

My surgeon wanted me to keep my incisions dry. I am not sure why. One of my strips came off early and the wound fell open a bit. No problem except that the new scab was wider and much deeper. It is healing well, just slowly. I bought some steri-strips but they just weren't the same.

Probably nothing to worry about since my surgeon also said that we could remove them early if we had sensitivity to the adhesive.

Whew... wasn't that the long way to say "don't stress and call your doc"?
