Surgery Tomorrow! Yikes!!"

Well I have posted quite a bit the past 6 or 7 months, asking many questions and just getting as much info and feedback as possible by reading many posts. And now the time has come! It is my turn to go to the other side of the band! Wow! I can hardly believe the time had arrived!

I am quite nervous! Never had any tyoe of surgery so this is my first! And hopefully my only one. :0)

Thank you all for posting on this site. You have been such a huge help to me. I appreciate all of you.

Please say a prayer for me when you can. Thank you! :0)

Good luck tomorrow! I had my surgery done yesterday. Everything went very smooth. Just think positively and you will be fine I am sure. wink.png

You will be absolutely fine - literally you will go to sleep and wake up banded - easy as that - will feel like it happened in seconds. Recovery was actually pretty nice - got to relax, watch tv, sleep, take pain meds, have my hubby wait on me - it was like a little vacation! Yes the gas pain hurt but that was the worst of it and i'd do it all over in a second!!!! Best of luck to you tomorrow!!!!!

Good luck to you tomorrow! It is Leap Day after all. A very lucky day for the Irish. Congrats!

Ditto on Allison0927's post! That's what happened for me as well. I barely even remember drinking the barium & them doing the x-ray after I "woke up". Hubby and son waited on my hand and foot for days! Lifting up a prayer for you Sassyfrass! Blessings and luck to you!

Wow Corianna! That's awesome! Wish I could make it to that by my 7th week. I don't see it happening. LOL. I know everyone loses differently, but are you doing anything else "extra special"? Pardon me if I'm being too nosy.

 YAY for you! It will go fine, and being post surgery will be preferrable to pre-surgery. Best of luck, enjoy your anesthesia - it really is like no time passed!

Thanks for all good wishes and prayers from each of you. Corriana, I have to say YOU truly do have a remarkable amount of loss. AWESOME! Very impressive!

I have to be at hospital at 6:00 a.m. so hopefully I will get in and out before I even have time to stress over it.

Thank you again. See you all on the other side!
