I don't think the question is can you.. the question is should you. Why are you risking stretching your pouch?? I didn't get this surgery to still shove down a big burger and fries after.

I am in no way being snarky but just concerned after reading many people with slipped bands, this is NOT the route I want to.

I wouldn't risk over eating in large amounts. We made a massive sacrifice to help ourselves and insert a crazy device into our bodies. We went thru pain and healing. Don't risk it!!

Well, it stands to reason tht i you could eat (say) 3000 a day pre surgery that if you eat about at or less you arent going to gain. Your nody still a the same metabolism and orks the same way afterall.

Over time though if you ls your calorie needs will drop.

Okay thank you. How many fills (generally) does a person need to start feeling a significant amount of restriction

Just because a person has had the surgery dows not mean anything has changed.

Having the surgery means the band was put in it's proper place.

Now the next phase is to get the band properly adjusted, with the proper amount of fill, to get the band

working properly to where your food intake is restricted. If your food intake is restricted, so is your calore intake. That plus excercise and getting your water in will equal weight loos.

It's that simple.
