"extreme" Sports?

Hey everyone im considering a lap band and one of concerns is activities I like to do. Mainly stuff such as wakeboarding, ocean riding my sea door, and 4wheeling. Is it ok to do these things with a band or would that cause complications?

Im actually 5'11" about to 290lbs. Im surprising athletic for my size. I can even kick 180sass and stuff haha its a little ridiculous. That's why I think lap band would be great for me. I don't mind exercise and work outs (especially in the form of wakboarding/skiing/etc) I just eat too damn much

I snowboard and kickbox, then and now. Do those count? No problems. Outside of someone punching you in the stomach maybe, the band shouldn't be relevant.
