First Meeting With My Lap Band Surgeon What Should I Expect

Hi.

I'm really interested in getting the lap band surgery and my first appointment with my surgeon is on January 12th 2012... What should I expect to happen... I know this is the first of many steps on my journey. I just hope I get approved

they will weigh you then tell you the steps involved and the tests you will need to take - my first visit was not long at all

The first page, home page, of this website has many of the questions/answers there.

Having said that, you'll typically see a presentation on what the procedure entails, a little history, post op life and a question and answer.

My wife and I have our first appointment scheduled for January 18th. The woman who set up the appointment also told us it would take several hours.
