Lap Band Unfilled For A Month, Having Issues, Need Advice!

Hello,

This is my first time posting. I posted this on the general forum before I realized there was a compliations forum, I apolgozie for the duplicate post.

Any advice and help would be appreciated. I was banded on 12/1/08, I have lost 170 lbs, I haven't lost anything in almost a year, so most of my weight loss was during the first 2 years. A little over a month ago I got very tight and had to get completely unfilled and I'm still having issues eating. I have had an upper gi, ct scan, and an endoscopy and everything looks fine. Some days I can eat just about anything and other days I'm extremely tight and get stuck. I'm not really sure what I should do at this point. Has anyone had any similar issues? Is it possible I have a slight slip that the upper gi didn't show?

Thank you.

I doubt it, there is a simple exercise called the 5 day pouch test that takes you through an easy trip, much like

your post op diet, only in just 5 days and it's helped a number of people get back into their programs without

much effort. You can find it on this site (look in search box) or on Google. Congratulations on your

loss to date.

Are you under a lot of stress right now? That plays a big part in how tight I am from day to day. Keep working with your surgeon to find the answer. Sorry I don't have any grand ideas for you.
