Post Lap Band Operation - Port Site Bad Sore

I am 4 days post op and my left side (port site) hurts the most and for 4 days has been my only complaint.. It is super duper sore. Is this normal?? I can hardly sit down or get up cause it's so sore.

Yep normal. I am more than three weeks post op and it still hurts a little.

Mine still hurts at times and I'm 6 months out. It took about 4 weeks before it stopped being a constant pain.

I just hope that means my surgeon secured it really well!

I had surgery on 11/11/11. My port pain is tolerable now - thank goodness. According to my doctor, it will take 4-6 weeks for that area to heal.
