Activities After The Lap Band Surgery

I am a active person, I am considering having the surgery but I am afraid I won't be able to continue my activities, I Scuba dive and I also play Ice Hockey, will I have to give these up?

Absolutely not! You will feel better than ever and will be able to do both of those activities. I am 3 1/2 months out of surgery and I am playing on an adult league volleyball, working out at the gym daily, riding long distance bike rides, and roller skating. My doc said I could do whatever I wanted to do. Of course there will be a recovery period in which you will have to take it easy on these activites, but after that I think you will be good to go.
