Hi all,

I was banded in 2008 by an awesome surgeon in Pennsylvania (Dr. Schuricht at Pennsylvania Hopsital - I highly recommend if looking for a good doctor.) Anyway - I recently got engaged (YIPEE!) and will be relocating to Kennesaw, Georgia. I'm stumped on how to even go about finding a new doctor. Do doctors even take on patients who they didn't do the actual surgery on?

If anyone has already gone through this and could give me advice, I'd appreciate it.

I believe the Lap Band manufacturers website has a surgeon search where one of the options is doctors willing to take on patients from other surgeons.

It would be a really good thing if your practice located and pre-sent your records for continuity of care...this they can do if they are as great as they seem to be.
