developed esophogeal bleeding ulcer from band?

After 4 yrs of success, stable weight, I started feeling hungry more often, had no restriction, could eat more than usual, and my Dr deciced to scope me, and found a bleeding esophogeal ulcer. He thinks it is from the band, and withdrew all the fill, wants me to heal before putting any back in. It doesn't make sense to me, has anyone else experienced this? Why would an ulcer create hunger, and stop my usual and needed restriction? Any Advice anyone? Thanks

Look up the five day band test on this site or on Google. It takes you back through

the post op steps and some people are finding it useful. If you have a bleeding ulcer,

It'll have to heal before you can continue with your weight loss.
