It's Official!! I am a Bandster.

Hey Y’All!!

I am finally Banded!! I am sitting here with my spirometer and some lovely water and a big ol’jar of liquid Hydrocodon… It’s all good.

I slept for a while after I got home – but that was mostly because I had to get up at *shudder* FIVE to go to the surgery center. Doctor Fox and all the folks at the Surgery Center of Richardson were wonderful and I never felt too self-conscious. Thankfully, they knocked me out before they all crowded around and laughed at my big fat belly (lol). <O:p</O:p

No, really, they were fabulous and the whole thing was a breeze. Who knows what I will have to say tomorrow – but for today, I have no pain and not even any major gas issues. Well, since I just took another hit of Hydrocodon, I might not be entirely lucid, soon, so I will sign off now.<O:p</O:p

<O:p</O:p

Thanks for all the well wishes, prayers and good thoughts.

</O:p

Aw, you guys are the best!! Thanks so much for all the kind words. I am feeling exponentially better today. I spent the last two days dozing, walking, breathing, and sipping.

I can hardly wait for the next couple of weeks to slide by so I can stand and roll over like a normal person, instead of a crippled oldster... But otherwise, life is good.

Hugs All Round!

:]

Congratulations!! I'm glad it's going so well for you, and the first t wo weeks will be over before you know it. Hope everything continues to go well.

Emily

Congratulations, Beanie!!! You will be a huge success!!! Rest up, drink up, and enjoy that chicken broth!!!!

I can't wait to join you either. I'm thinking and hoping May. It looks like everything is going well for the surgery then. You must be flying high as a kite with the liquid hydrocodone. Enjoy it while it lasts and I wish you a happy, healthy and speedy recovery. Just to be on the puter so fast is awesome. Rest and get well.

Well crap - I've only just seen this lol. Glad to hear you're finally banded, Rene :) I knew your day would come soon.

Beanie !!!! I just saw this ! Yea for you !!!! May all your days from here on be smooth sailing......
