I had surgery tuesday night. I'm not in that much pain stomach wise (well its tolerable) anyway I feel like I'm going to throw up and I'm dizzy. My doctor said its most likely from the meds. How long is this feeling going to last? Everyones telling me by the third or fourth day I won't be feeling this lousy. Is that true?

I was like that for ten days. I actually threw up. Anesthia is what did it for me. Stay away from car rides

Is it bad to throw up? And could the nausea be from not eatting a lot?

It could be from several.things. not eating. Medication. Or the medicine they used to pit u asleep. Yes throwing up is bad for u. Get some motion sickness pills they will probably help or ask doctor for meds. Mine got worse when I rode or driver in a car.

Get a hold of your Dr., he might subscribe something for nausea.

I had surgery Aug 19 and I had the nausea and the dizziness for about 5 days, and to make things worse I had to fly back home on day 3, so as you can imagine that was the worst plane ride.
