Is Early Twenties too young for the lapband?

Hello. I'm 21, 5' 3", 236 pounds. I'm the biggest I've ever been in my life, and I'm only getting bigger. I tried losing weight about five years ago, only to gain it all back in like a year. I think that if you had tried to loose weight with several diets and you loose the weight but always gain it back-- don''t waste more time and go ahead and have it done. Chances are that your eating habits are not good enough and with the band you either eat well or suffer the consequences.
