I also love the fact my daughter can wrap her arms around me. I found my rib cage this morning and made both my husband and daughter come feel them LOL.

96 pounds gone.....I love that!!!!!

Shopping in regular sizes

Crossing legs

Walking by a mirror or glass door and realizing that is me

My life not revolving around food anymore

Shopping in regular sizes

Not feeling self conscious in a crowd

People telling me how young I look

Shopping in regular sizes

Shopping

Shopping

Shopping

I have many years to make up for....I can remember going to Disney years ago and going shopping and could not find anything that looked good on me in the 4X or 5X's.

I love going in and trying on clothes....it's good exercise too!

Ha Ha

I love sitting with my legs crossed again after almost 10 years.

I weigh less than anyone in my house now,

My waist is now 33 inches and my skinny butt husband wears a 34. (he's 6'2")

I can wear smaller clothes

I feel sexy now for the first time in years.

I feel more comfortable now when sitting on the couch or driving my car. (just got a new one)

People are really starting to notice that I've dropped 58 lbs and comment now because they see the difference and not just because they know I had surgery.

There are so many good feelings. The biggest is that my self esteem is really coming up because I feel people are noticing me for the right reasons and not just because I am fat. It is funny how when you are bigger that people don't really approach you to talk or look you in the eyes as much. I didn't think people were so judgemental about people who are overweight, but I am finding out that they are.

I love my calves- I look great in a skirt now.

I also think my backside looks pretty good.

My waist and rib-cage are super tiny-- I had no idea! When I wear the big-belt-over-shirt look I sometimes need a size small belt. Holy crow! (Unfortunately I still have the double belly roll + FUPA so that kills some of the excitement)

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
