I have been banded for almost 3 years with no fills and to goal. I pretty much have kept the 85 of 90 pds off but the 5 pounds gained at last Christmas comes and goes and never stays gone. I have become very complacent with eating a little more than I should. Just wondering how many people have had the band for 10 years or more and are still at goal or close to it?

That not likely since lapband has only been approved in the US for 10 years! (June, 2001)

My doctor has had his band 9 years.
