1st fill Whoop Whoop!!!

Recommended Posts

Hey my loves!

I was banded on July 13,11 and just received my diet fill today!! He gave me 4ccs and I was so shocked that he gave me so much first go around! I'm excited though, and I just had a sip of Water and was like "whoa! I can def feel the difference!!"

good luck to all of my fellow July bandsters, if you haven't had your first fill yet, hold on! It DOES get better!

Happy weight loss to all!

I got my first one on Monday (was banded on June 30) and didn't really feel a difference. Tell me what you felt? Maybe I will notice it more when I am on to mushies starting tomorrow?

As soon as I took a sip of Water it felt like it didn't want to go down. When I was waiting at the dr.s office I was STARVING, when I left and drank some water...feeling GONE. Feels like I just ate a full meal!

Well right now the biggest thing I am doing is making sure I am drinking and if I start too feel hungry I will drink and it can get me about 45 min longer. I can tell if I eat too much because I will get a pain right under my rib cage on my port side. I am eating really slow though. So I almost can tell when that bite is the last bite. I just feel full which I have not felt in a year. Its nice... I am not sure I helped you its hard too put into words. You will get it though just remember too chew!! Good luck

Thanks for sharing! I was banded July 28 and get my first fill August 29 and I can't wait - I'm almost as excited as I was for the surgery! It's nice to hear what your experience was like.

I had my 1st fill yesterday too, but only got 1cc. He started with 1.5cc, but when I was drinking the Water I felt tightness so he pulled out .5 cc's. He said you shouldn't feel that tightness, so I'm glad he took some out.

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
