Mass General in Boston/Brigham and Womens Hospital

Has anyone had the lap band surgery in either Mass General in Boston or the Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston? Trying to make some comparisons and hoping for any input? Good experiences or bad? Thanks!

Sorry no. I did have surgery at Lahey and have been very happy. Considering the presurgery visits and post op care (ie fills) I would consider the location of the hospital. I live in Southern NH and did not want to shlep to Boston for all those appointments.

I used to work for MGH (many, many years ago) & having had all of my children at BWH--I can say both are very good places to choose from. Either one is a good choice. I would go with which doctor/program you feel comfortable with or is more convenient to get to.

Good Luck.
