I went for my pre op appointment today. This has been a long process and I'm so happy to finally be closer to my surgery. I was nervous because at my first visit he told me I need to lose weight before I have my pre op appointment and I didnt think I lose any. I did lose 7 pounds. My surgery date is September 8th. Anyone else have surgery September 8th?

Thanks and congratulations to you too. I will keep you in my prayers. Keep me posted on how everything goes for you. I'm happy,excited,scared and nervous. Just lots of emotions. I hope I'm making the right decision.

My Surgery is August 31st so Iam just ahead of you but not by much.I have been looking for others here who have surgery about the same time to group and support each other will let you know how it goes for me and will be thinking of you on Sept 8th and wishing you the very best.

I'm having surgery in Philadelphia. Let's definitely keep in touch, especially during the pre-op diet. I have a feeling that's going to be real tough.
