I have been to my surgeon 2xs I met with her on April 2011 and she went over all the requirements w/me, she gave me a paper that stated all the Drs I had to visit. I went to my nutrionist very important, went to a psychiatrist to get a clearance (Cleared), went to a Sleep study center (detected I had Sleep Apnea ) went to a pulmonologist (Cleared) had Blood work done which my triglycerides were really high, however I also suffer from High Blood Pressure, had my Primary doctor write a letter stating all my issues on why I am not able to loose weight and what not have I done and last thing had to go to a Gastroenterologist for an endoscopy which was done and now waiting on him to clear me. I have an appointment with my surgeon on August and I am desperate to know how long will it take for me to get approval from my insurance I am so desperate, I want this lap band so Bad.. I have been looking at everyones pics and they all motivated me ... I have been doing so much for this approval That I CAN NOT GIVE UP!!!

all insurance company's are different. My took about 10 days to get approval which really surprised me! Good luck and remember good things come to those who wait!!

I had all of those appointment too. My approval took four business days. Good luck !
