first fill

I had surgery 09/17/04, lost 65 lbs at one year, then stopped. I had my first fill 12/04/05 of 2 cc. I am having a hard time since then. Everything seems to get stuck and causes a lot of pain, even things I was able to eat before the fill. Even drinking water or coffee causes discomfort. Is this normal? :)

I've had one fill since my surgery on 12/28, and I've had no discomfort (besides an episode of eating a piece of lunch meat too fast and ohhh the pain) anyways, everything I've read said that a fill shouldn't cause pain. Maybe you need to be unfilled? I'm not doctor though, but I'd suggest maybe giving yours a call for some guidance...I hope you feel better.

It definitely sounds like you need an unfill. I had 1cc in a 4cc band, and I had constant discomfort. I wasn't PB'ing, so I just figured that was the way things were supposed to be... Now that I've had an unfill I know what restriction is supposed to feel like. Call your doc. :)
