What are the symptoms of a slipped band?

I had my band put in at the end of December and everything has been going pretty good. Yesterday I started having a pain right where my lap band is placed. It feels like the pain you get after irritation but it does not seem to want to go away. I had a small fill last week, (.25) and started my period today. I don't know if any of this matters but I am worried my band may have slipped. Has anyone else felt anything like this?

Accocording to my surgeon, when your band slips you suddenly can't keep anything down. However, I would call your doc.s office and let them know what's going on. I don't think you have a slip, but something else might be an issue. Hope you feel better soon.

I have actually needed an unfill due to a period once. Couldn't get anything down and everything was stuck.

food is going down fine and I have not gotten anything stuck either. Just the pain. I did eat just Soup yesterday as to give it a rest in case it is just irritation but I just don't know why all of a sudden I feel this pain.
