I'm no longer a band virgin!!!

Well i got banded yesterday!!!!!! i will post my full story in the surgery story thread. Doing well right now. No appetite, but I have been sipping on water, crystal light, jello and popsicles. Anyone have any suggestions about how to get in/out of bed without havingSOOOOO much pain at the port sight. That is the one thing that I am having the most diffculty with.:(

    Welcome to the other side! I hope Bandster Hell is kind to you. My biggest tip for getting up out of bed is to take it slow and try to swing your legs out together, not one at a time, which will keep you from twisting at the waist.
