sounds like a great way to increase public awareness & acceptance!

It sounds good. It mentions that it is a tool. It outlines some of the people it is not suitable for and also outlines some of the risks.

Like it - It's only a tool and I think that has to be stressed -

I too like the fact that they say it is a tool so it doesn't mislead anyone into thinking it is a quick fix. Also informs people out there that there are other solutions to weight loss. I never heard of the Lap Band till 2010 when my cousin told me about it. Great ad!

I think the info is really good, and for the most part I like it! I'm glad it says you COULD lose weight, not that you will. I don't know if it's just my speakers on my computer but it sounds like she's saying "lat band" instead of "laP" and for people who have never heard of it before, that might be a problem when they try to get more info.

I think it was well done not pushy in any way. I think if more people heard this then they would be kinder to those getting Lap Band.

I think it's about time that Lapband gets out there and promoted on radio and TV-seriously it seems like such a hidden procedure. The more that people hear about the more accepting it becomes. Great commerial - howver I do agree that it sounds like they are saying Latband instead of Lapband.

I think the ad is good. It explains a bit about the procedure, the health benefits and how to inquire about it in a minimal amount of words and time. I like that they don't have people on there who have had it done. Personally, when I see people talking on TV about how they had anything done to their bodies,(you know,info-mercials the miracle cures for anything) I always wonder. Are they paid actors/spokespeople? I believe the people who I know for certain had it done. Like on here for instance, or at the seminars/support meetings , friends and family, etc. Again , it says alot in a nutshell.

Great voice-over, good clear dependable sound. The ad is quite long and I think it might be hard for some people to stay focused on it while driving etc etc.

I'd maybe add a 10-15 sec cut-down to get the message across.
