I itch!

4days post op and I know that it is just my incisions healing but I ITCH! omg, I didn't itch this much with any other surgery. Can I use liquid benadryl?

I itched too, because I had a rash all over my belly from the iodine sheeting stuff they use... but if you're itching at the incisions, I don't think that itching would be from any sort of allergic reaction, so I don't think Benadryl would work?

The PA at my practice had me take liquid Benadryl for the itching, but I don't know if it'd work in your case...

I itched like CRAZY!! Nothing helped and my DR said don't put anything on it. I would just rub it and it helped. Sorry......my itching lasted andt 2 1/2 weeks.:( Good luck!
