Maybe jump into the liquid diet for 2 days then back into mushies and solids? At least doing liquids will make you crap out all of the junk hehe :)

I did a mini version of this over Easter weekend.

This morning, I'm back to a Protein shake for Breakfast, healthy snack mid morning, tuna and whole wheat crackers for lunch, etc. Going to the gym tonight.

I feel more hungry than usual, but that's it. I'm not punishing myself. I made a choice. I'm always free to make a different choice at any time. Back on the horse.

I try to avoid the old "all or nothing" perfectionist thinking. I don't have to be perfect. If I make one little slip the whole day (week, month, year) isn't ruined (so I might as well go hog wild). I just get back to basics and do what's good for me.

Frankly, I felt pretty crappy from eating all that crap. I'm glad I'm back on track now and will be feeling better shortly.

Good luck to you.

Start righting everything you eat in a journal. Add up those calories, and Protein.< /p>

Let the numbers talk to you, and tell you the truth.

I plan on doing the same thing next week. Just say that this was a vacation....and don't beat yourself up. Follow the suggestions from the other posters, and if you need a mini-fill, see your doctor.

Just jump right back in! I went away to the Bahamas 7 weeks after my surgery. I did not have a lot of choices of eating very healthy on that trip (most meals were brought to us) I admit I ate like crap too. Though I did walk on the beach most days. Luckily I came back to find i'd lost .5 lb. But when I got back, even though I got home at like 2 am. I woke up in the morning and was at the gym at 10am. So I jumped right back on and kept going. So believe me you can do it, dive right in!

Just jump right back in. Yes you made some bad decisions on vacation (and who doesn't?), but that's in the past. It didn't undo all the good you've done and will continue to do with the band. Don't beat yourself up.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞

I may have to have gall bladder surgery during my weight loss surgery. Not thrilled about it either but do not want 2 recovery times. Just want it over with.

Thanks for your post. I may need to rethink my decision... :(
