Newbie, too!

After a year long discussion with myself, I decided to go ahead and have Lap-band surgery. My doctor was Dr Hamdi in Middletown, NY; everything that he and his people did was to support my decision and to help solidify what I had to do once that decision was made. I couldn't have asked for a better support team.

I had my surgery in November of 2010, just before Thanksgiving. That was a tough one to sweat out, I couldn't enjoy any of the Thanksgiving Day meal because I had my surgery and was on the liquid only diet. Needless to say, I made it through and have lost 33 lbs so far.

Congrats on the lose and the surgery. It is awesome and the best thing ever. I wish you huge success and please if you have questions or concerns, I am here to help. I have been banded almost 2 years now and it was not always the easiest thing, but still I know it was the right thing. I have been in and out of situations that have affected the band so although I am NO PRO< I do have lots of experiances to share. Let me know how I can help and I will be faithful to be there for you.
