Almost solid food time

This may sound silly but I am worried about going back on regular foods. I am 15 days post op. I have been on the pre-op then post-op diets since 03/21. I have done fairly well. I have lost 20 pounds. I am nervous that once I start eating regular foods the weight loss will stop. Has anyone else had similar thoughts?

I was worried too, but more worried about getting stuck or not tolerating certain foods. I find my weight loss has definitely slowed down a bit, but slow and steady wins the race, right?

Jen,

I am concerned about that too. I really have had no issues other than gas pains and I don't want to start having them now. I just want to eat the right things and be suucessful!

I'm in the same boat as you. I've been on liquids/mushy since the beginning of March and now I am starting to slowly introduce solids into my diet. I know I don't even have a fill yet but I'm scared of the weight gain. I think we'll be fine as long as we watch what we eat and get our exercise in we'll still see the scale going down. Good luck!!!
