Insurance approval woes

Hi everyone I'm new to the site. My surgery is scheduled for 4/28/2011 but insurance approval is still up in the air. Is there anyone else out there going through this agony?

    Hi tjmur

    I submitted to BCBS of Ill on January 2nd. It took 30 days fro them to come back with a denial. We appealled and I was approved within 10days. My surgery was March 25th. Hang in there it will happen and you will be in Bandland soon.
