This hasn't happened to me before since getting the band...

OMG. I am sooooo hungry and I ate less than an hour ago. I had lunch at 1:00/1:15, a small nack (I don't normally do snacks) at about 3:30 and my dinner at 5:30. Dinner was a tostada shell (round, flat, corn tortilla) w/an egg scrambled into 1/4 cup of my yummy pinto Beans, a tbsp of cheese and some salsa. I ended up also having one of those little SmartOnes (weight watchers) Desserts. It's not just that I'm hungry, it's also that I feel like I haven't eaten much today. I think I may have to have one of the single serve cartons of Muscle Milk for the Protein. I wonder if that would help.

It seems like my body has to be telling me something. I really just cannot remember any other time since I got the band, that I've felt like this. I'm sure this has had to have happened to others and I was wondering how you've dealt with it? My head tells me "Don't eat anymore", so that's why I'm thinking to just have one of the Muscle Milk's.

Any hints?

To me it sounds like dinner did not have enough protein. One egg is like 10 g protein, and not a whole lot in 1/4 cup beans. 200 cal. of protein would be better than the WW dessert.

How much are you exercising? On days that I work out really hard, I need more food.

When was your last fill and how much have you lost since then? I find when I've lost a significant amount, it's usually time for another fill.

And try increasing the amount of Protein per meal. Your dinner sounds pretty good, but I'd try adding an egg white ( or 1/4 cup egg white from a carton) to the mix to increase the protein w/o adding significant calories/cholesterol. Or you could increase the amount of cheese (love the little laughing cow lights..).

It could also be your menstrual cycle affecting your appetite .. if you're still menstruating.

Good luck, hope you figure this out.

I exercise up to 45 minutes daily during the week and usually not so much on the weekends. I have been trying to do my squats, arm weights & leg raises (w/ankle weights) at home.

Although I do think I could probably try to get a little more Protein in, I don't think that was the case the other day. I eat that tostada w/egg & Beans a lot and I've never felt like that since the band. I really do think my body was just telling me something (and I was on my cycle) when this incident happened.

I did feel a lot better later that evening.

Protein helps kill hunger, so,,,, A shake wouldn't hurt. How many G of protein are you getting a day.

Should be around 60

If not,,, then yeagh you should try the Muscle Milk Light.

How long sence a fill?

If you eat, and you are starving a little later, and your getting your protein in. Then call your Dr. for a fill.

I can help you with info on the Muscle Milk Light with a supplier.

Just wright me, and let me know if interested.
