Recently,I am unable to eat. My last fill was about 1 year ago and I have been able to comfortably eat 1/2 cup to 1 cup of food at a time. In the past 2 weeks, I even have problems with liquids causing heartburn. What are the symptoms of band slippage? Has anyone else had a problem similar to mine?

I have a slipped band. My biggest problem was GERD all night long. I would cough and cough until I had to spit out slime. At my last visit, my surgeon removed everything for a month to see if it would solve the problem. I suggest a visit to your surgeon, ASAP! Karen

So have you had it since replaced? A new band? I would appreciate anything you could share as I am just going through a slipped band, they were supposed to rreplace it but instead removed it last Wed and I am now recovering with severely mixed emotions and a A LOT of pain. I swear I don't remember this much pain the first time...agonizing. Thanks for sharing!
