has anyone had surgery in montreal?

Hi,

I too am new here. After many years of yo-yo dieting and dieting up to my current weight of 250 lbs. I have decided to go with the lapband. I see the surgeon in April. I was wondering if anyone has had surgery in Montreal? Did you go with the public system or private?

Hi Sue

My name is Juliana and I did have the surgery in Quebec.

I did at the Spa diva medical center. They are amazing there.

Dr Miller is very honest and all the staff super helpfull

It cost 16 k. But 100% worth it.

I had mine in october and 47lbs gone.

Good luck

Keep me posted.

wow, you are doing really well. I am really hoping to be accepted as a candidate, I can't wait for my appointment. Have you had any fills yet? any problems?

Keep up the good work!

Sue

Hi,

I was banded in Drummondville, Quebec on March 2, 2011.

When I was accepted 1.5 years ago, I had to pay for the band.

In the meantime the Government decided they would pay for it. So I got it for free.

I am down 14 lbs including the 10 days on liquid before operation.......

it's going down very slowly. I had my first fill this tuesday ..... 6 cc.... I'm hoping to see the scale go down a bit faster.

I have no regrets so far.

Hi,

Have spoken to Dr. Jette in the past at Pierre Boucher hospital...nice guy.

Your appointment is coming up real soon..... next week....good.

I hope your waiting is not as long as mine was.

Reason why I went to Drummondville but even there ended up

waiting 1.5 years.

My doctor was M. Lalancette in Drummondville, great crew there too.

Have a Great weekend!
