i am really new to this!! i am really desperate to know if anyone has had a gastric band fitted in Beligum by Dr chris de bruyne?? if so was it ok.

thing is i have made up my mind that i am definitely having a gastric band, just need to know if its a good idea to travel to Belgium to possibly make the operation a little more affordable (as money is tight) or weather to wait and have it done in the uk when we can afford it.

anyone that can give me some advice or there own experience would be kindly received

What about insurance? All I have had to pay is my copays at the drs. office when I go. I'm pretty sure I won't have to pay anything on the day of surgery either, or if I do, it will only be my deductible which is like $150 for surgeries. You should look into it!

Surgery is on the way, just waiting for the approval from insurance! :-)
