I have been overweight all of my life and I am ready for a new change. Hopefully soon I will here about my approval from BCBS.

Hi Ruthie,

I also have BCBS and I am just starting the process. Wondering if they required a six month waiting period? I have so co-mobities such as Type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure so wonder if I will have to wait that time if required. Any idea since you just went through all the hoops.

I just received word today that my lap band has been approved by my insurance. I My surgery date is Jan 24th. I am so excited, but nervous also. I would like to have to lap band buddies to help me along, if at all possible.
