    I am being banded on 02/07/10, after 6 months of a medical diet. psych eval, nutritionist eval. I am very excited. My bmi is 53.1 and I am on a liquid diet only starting 01/10/11. Ruthie

    I just received word today that my lap band has been approved by my insurance. I My surgery date is Jan 24th. I am so excited, but nervous also. I would like to have to lap band buddies to help me along, if at all possible. Ruthie
