I had a group nutrition appointment where we went over the basics of eating with the band, preop diet, postop diet, how much food we should be eating at a meal, protein first etc. That was more like a seminar with other folks who were getting the band too. And then I had an individual meeting with the nutritionist where she just talked to me about how I was doing with my eating currently, have I started practicing taking little bites and chewing thoroughly etc. And she asked me if I had any questions (which I did, and then we discussed those). And she gave me her email and told me to contact her whenever I needed anything.
