How many fills did you get in the first 6 months?

I was banded in August of this year. I got my third fill a few weeks ago. I have no restriction and the surgeon said he'd do my next fill in 3 months!!

I'm calling today to see if he will reconsider. I'd like another fill next week. I'm currently at 5.5 cc's in a 10 cc band.

I was banded on 8/13/10. I had my first fill at like 4 weeks out 4CC, second 3 weeks later 2 CC, third 2 1/2 weeks after that 1 cc. I have an appointment for a fourth in 2 days (last was about a month ago). I had limited restriction after last fill for a couple days but that went away. Were you experiencing significant restriction after your last fill. If so the doctor may feel you are at restriction. If this is not true I would definately talk to them about a fill. Three months seems like a lot to me. I know this is a marathon not a race; but I do feel frustrated like I am on a very strick diet but not loosing very fast. I way all my protein. I was actually loosing faster presurgery on my own high protein, low fat, low carb diet.

I called and they got me in for next week. I'm hoping that will help.
