Seattle: Celebrating 3rd Bandiversary on 11/15

Hi there, looking for seasoned bandsters (especially in the Seattle area) who have been through the ups and downs and have been successful, then the air sorta came out of their sails and things slowed down. Looking for support in keeping the momentum going and keeping myself ever-aware, ever-mindful, and ever-alive to this incredible tool I have. My goal is approximately 40 lbs away....yes and I have been doing this 3 years.

Any sage advice from others out there?

Many Thanks!

I'm in Bellevue, coming up on my 2nd Bandiversary. I'm new to the area and also looking for support to keep the motivation going. I found this site to be absolutely wonderful. I'm going to a local support group at Overlake Hospital here in Bellevue next Thursday night 6-8pm....let me know if your interested. I have a hard time finding these threads, so if you post on my profile...

Hi!

I'm four years out and 6 lbs from goal. So close yet so far... I have been holding steady at this weight for a few months and have come up with a plan to shake things up.

Three days a week I will go to the gym ( I previously hadn't been exercising at a gym) and I will do strength training, followed by a yoga class, and then a half hour of cardio in that order. I will also continue at 1200 cal/day but will do a 42 gm protein shake for breakfast instead of the 27 gm one. (myoplex, french vanilla) I can't really eat solids in the morning anyway.

Good luck on your journey,
