Hi from Perth (new, first appt tomorrow)

Hi there

While googling lap band info I came across this site and decided to join too.

I am really excited and nervous... and excited.. ;p I have my appointment with Dr Stephen Watson tomorrow (28 Oct). The receptionist told me current average waiting time from first appt to surgery atm is about 2 to 3 weeks.

My current weight is 101kg with a BMI of 36.

Look forward to changing that soon ;p

welcome!

I am a Steve Watson patient and was banded by Steve in August 2008. You're in good hands with him.

Congrats on your decision! My BMI was 35 on the day of surgery, and the band has been a godsend for me. Good luck with your appt and upcoming surgery.

Hi, I too am a Stephen Watson patient. I saw him on 22/10/2010 and am booked in for surgery on Wed 03/11/2010, like yourself, excited, nervous, excited and trying to get as much information about the post op as possible. Good luck.

Hi Aprilli,

My first appointment is on the 23rd November and I am a little nervous. I'm from Perth also, but will be with Dr Kevin Dolan.

Rael.
