shirataki tofu noodles

Tofu Shirataki (Low Carb Pasta) by House Foods

Has anyone tried these? I have a few recipes for them from Hungry Girl. I am concerned about the consistency, like will it get stuck like Pasta can. Not worried about taste, if it is gross, I will throw it out. Though I have had some pasta as long as it is "wet" with a sauce I can handle it.

I used to eat these all the time before I was banded and I was doing Atkins.

I would be a bit reluctant to eat them now as they are basically impossible to chew (can't be broken down by chewing) and they need to be eaten with lots of sauce. You would probably need to cut them up very finely for them to go down.

They are a really good low carb alternative to Pasta (you need to rinse them before cooking as they kind of smell fishy) and they are pretty much tasteless.
