Normal heartburn or band too tight??

Okay last Tuesday I had a 1 cc fill. I already had 3 cc's so I now have 4 cc's. The first two days I was on liquids. I was STARVING! I had a bad headache and I took 2 Tylenol- they went down with no problem.

Then Wednesday night at bedtime I had heartburn it was mild nothing severe.

Friday I ate a piece of a roll and a sip of Water and I had heartburn. I took something for it and it went away.

Then today I had 2 cups of coffee no problem. Then at lunch I ate some stew. I had 1 piece of a stewed tomato in mine and I got severe heartburn from that.

Now I can eat anything I want with no problems. Dry meat, bread, nuts no issues there. I just want to make sure that my heartburn is not from my band being too tight.

I don't have heartburn every day or even at night/bedtime. No coughing either and I did have Acid Reflux before getting banded.

I'm currently not hungry, get full on a cup of food and I've lost 3 pounds since Tuesday.

So is it a band problem you think or just my normal heartburn? I just want to make sure I'm doing everything right.

Doesn't sound like a band issue. If you are able to keep food down it is not that. Have you had any issues with reflux in the past?

Yes I have had reflux issues in the past. Tomorrow I'll pick up some Prevacid OTC and try that. Hopefully that will work b/c right now I'm happy with my band. I think it's in the perfect spot for now.
