I told myself I'd only post once about me me me and that it was going to be when I hit the 100 pound mark. So...here it is! I haven't suffered too much along the way and am very happy with my progress. The only funny thing is that I'm not that aware of how different I look. People say it all the time, but I still feel like myself. I guess I get less tired going up a hill or something, but it's not as earth shattering a difference as I might have expected. Now I'm struggling with wardrobe and what I want my goal weight to be, and have visions of a Tummy Tuck and maybe a boob lift down the road.

Anyway, a one time yay for me!

Congrats to you!!! I, too, have lost over 100 lbs. I still have issues with looking in the mirror and "not seeing it", although I get comments daily. I had to get rid of 90% of my wardrobe! Anybody have suggestions on where to go to get cheap clothes?

I am so proud of you and the others that have lost 100 lbs. I still have over 100 to go and I am impressed with how you have done. I am two months out and would love to hear what all you did or didn't do. Can you tell me at what calorie level you are eatting and how much exercise you are doing.

The mirror will eventually help you out. I find that taking a picture and comparing them is when I really notice changes. Try that.

YAHHHHH

Hey I have been going to the Goodwill, you would be surprised at some of the really nice items that are there. I actually have a Salvation army and a huge flea market also in my town.

Also check to see if you have an adult consignment shop in your area. I found I could make money selling my old clothes to help pay for the next size down.

Are you where you are done losing? If you are then maybe try Old Navy and Kohls. They tend to have good sales and nice stuff that isn't break the bank.

Can I ask exactly what did you do over the past 6 months? What calorie level did you eat at? How much did you exercise? How many fills did it take to get restriction?

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
